Nothing inside the cab effects spark, except the ignition switch under the steering column, when key is turned on ignition switch sends 12volt to coil and TFI module on distributor
Test if you have 12volts, key on, at the coil, either wire should show 12volts
If not that's the problem
There are two wires from ignition switch that provide 12v to coil
Red/green stripe wire with key on, no volts in START
Brown/pink wire with key turn to START, no volts with key on
(this was a hold over setup from when vehicle coils required a lower voltage while engine was running)
Both wires are connected to a red/green wire that runs thru the firewall and then to the coil and TFI module
If this one wire has been damaged in engine bay then no 12v to coil
