That looks like a different way to do a torsion bar lift on the front, similar to a key lift.. Be careful about going much beyond a 1.5" lift in the front. You can get the shocks extended to far and make your ride feel rough. You can get longer shocks but the upper control arm can start hitting the frame and give you the same results of the shocks extending all the way. The lift for the rear should be fine if it is sturdy enough.
The only thing to be wary about with shackles is that they may misalign the rear wheels in the wheel opening. It seems to be more noticeable on trucks with stock size tires, or slightly bigger.
I appreciate the replies, I keep going back and forth because I don't wanna do anything harmful to the truck just want it a tad bit higher. Stock height is fine but I swear it seems down in the front, could be just in my head... The rear is fine. I've got adjustable supersprings that work for accomodating weight. I also have the bed height adjustable...
Could just be worn out torsion bars. F and B code bars had a tendency to sag over time. That's why the torsion keys have the adjuster bolts, so you can adjust for this wear over the life of the vehicle.
