1991 2.3L No gauges post manual swap
Hello,
As the title suggests, I have virtually no gauge cluster after a manual swap. I've put 1k miles on the truck since the swap, but ever since I put the donor gauge cluster in (from 1992 manual) I don't have any gauges EXCEPT for speedometer. Fuel is pinged beyond full, despite it not being full. The blinkers occasionally make the voltage indicator move in a binary fashion. Rear Anti Lock is always on, and the battery light will turn on when going through starting procedure. These indicate to me that it's definitely not as simple as I missed a connector behind the gauge cluster, so I figured I would ask the forum before I go ripping out the dash again.
I've read on here there is a ground that goes from engine to frame for the gauges specifically. Where would that be located?
Other than these minor little things..... I'm loving the truck and so happy its a manual now.
Thank you for pointing me in the right direction.
