Cam Sensor Problem.... HELP!!!!

So... my ranger 3.2 wildtrak has been poorly for a while. Stuck in limp mode. I had a stage 1 eco/power map and the dpf removed and mapped out. Fault code still showing for cam position sensor even though no lights on the dash but stuck in limp mode. A friend hooked it up to a decent reader to find the fault code. Replaced the sensor with a genuine Ford sensor, still no luck. Timing chain was due so I thought maybe not 100% in sync so had the Timing chain replaced. Still no luck. Had a remap guy tell the truck that the sensor had been done and check everything. Still nothing. Had it to an auto electrician who confirmed all wiring is doing as it should be. Local garage, remap guy, and auto electrician left clueless and truck is still in limp mode saying cam position sensor fault. Has anybody please got a line they can throw me as to what the heck is going on..... much appreciated and many thanks. Chris.

Welcome to the forum

We are in North America so could never get the T6 Rangers here, ours were smaller and 1983 thru 2011 only, so different trucks than yours

Try Australian Ranger forums, they got/used the T6 Rangers
