Repeated P2002 fault - DPF Efficiency Below Threshold
Repeated P2002 fault - DPF Efficiency Below Threshold
Hi all,
I have an issue with my 2021 2.0 Wildtrak that I can't bottom out. I keep getting the EML light up and when scanned (Forscan) I'm seeing a "P2002 DPF Efficiency Below Threshold" fault. I've ruled out a failed sensor or a leakage due to the fact the fault doesn't occur every drive, I could go weeks without seeing it then it could happen twice in the same week. The Forscan PID values also seem sensible which backs this up. Also, it ONLY occurs after driving for about 10-15 minutes, and seemingly only when I'm doing a fair speed, ie. it never happens when I'm in traffic around town.
I can confirm using Forscan that it is doing its regular regens, and the truck gets used on a good variety of journeys including towing.
It's been in to Ford who just did a forced Regen and sent me on my way, but the problem reoccurred soon after.
There are no performance issues at all when the fault occurs.
Any ideas on this one please? I can find a million and one cases of this online but none that are specific to what I'm seeing.
Thanks.
