98 ranger Led headligths stuck on highbeam!
hello all, had my ranger for a while now and i had led headlight bulbs in there but it was stuck on highbeam as soon as the headlights were turned on. Could this have something to do with the fact that my truck has parking lights unlike some other rangers? the low beams can be turned on when the swithch stick is pushed forward which would normally turn the high beams on. I also noticed that everything worked fine when only one side or one led was plugged in for the headlight. as soon as i put it all together i noticed this issuse and have since taken them out. was wondering if anyone has any fixes? can i unplug a drl module or something? any tips? thanks
I also added 2 led 3x4 inch pods and a 12 inch dual row light bar but i really want to get these bulbs working.

LEDs might be an issue for the DRL module, it uses pulse width modulation(PWM) to run regular bulbs at 60% voltage, and LEDs require less voltage so could be very bright
But not sure myself since I have never converted to LEDs
From my diagram, 1998 used dual filament bulbs, one filament is brighter than the other, so can they be put in either way?
You can push Park Brake pedal down a few clicks, so Park Brake light comes on, that disables DRL power, see if that matters
