Icon5 Front brakes issue

Truck: Ford 1999 Ranger XLT ext cab 4.0L V6 front disc brakes rear drum ABS all the way around

I did a brake job (rotors, pads) I noticed the passenger side was worn a lot more than driver's side. After completing job, I noticed, the passenger side felt tighter when I spun the wheel by hand vs the driver's side,
I went and replaced both side calipers since they are were originals. There was no change.
I re bled the hell out of them... no change
Looked for damaged or smashed brake lines.. they look fine.

Master cylinder? but why only one side tight?

Rob

Start engine, pump brake pedal a few times, shut off engine
Open the bleeder on the passenger side, if you get a small squirt of fluid then there was still pressure at that wheel, fluid should just gravity bleed out, drip
Front calipers should have 0psi pressure with brake pedal up
Rear shoes can have a few psi

No wouldn't be Master
4 Wheel ABS unit maybe as it has one brake line to each from wheel
Flex line maybe, if they break internally they can act like a valve and hold in a little pressure after brake pedal is released

Just saved me a ton of money. I have no idea why I didn't just think of opening the bleeder valve to see if there was pressure on it.

I did the test. No pressure. I am thinking made its supposed to be a have a little tension on it.. I never really payed attention to it, until I notice how wore the pads were on the passenger side. I can turn the rotor with tire off and it doesn't pull to the right when I brake and I don't smell brakes getting hot. Maybe its just fine.

But dang, I was gonna change master cylinder and that wouldn't have worked, the $500 ABS would have been next.... Thanks!!!
