2009 ford ranger lose fender flares

Hello everyone I have a 2009 ford ranger sport 4.0l , my rear fender flare is loose and not snug to the body , I noticed that 2 out of the 6 plastic push pins Have fallen out do I replaced the 2 plastic push pins, however that did not solve the lose rear fender flare. How do I tighten it up ? What’s the trick I’m confused , thanks appreciate any advice/info

The flares use something similar to what is shown below. They get weak over time, especially when the flares have been removed and reinstalled. This is what holds the flares to the body, so they are likely your issue. Do some research to make sure you buy the right ones as I cannot guarantee the ones below will fit a Ranger.
