Removing fender flares?

Removing fender flares?

Can you remove the fender flares on an 03 fx4 without having holes in the sheet metal? im tinking of doing it. i think it would look better.

What Larson means is that there are holes in the exterior sheet metal. Seven holes for the rear fender flares if I remember right. Don't know about the front.
