Going from lift back to stock height on my 2001 4WD..this is what alignment guy said

Hello:
so alignment guy that I’ve used for decades tells me that I need to go back to stock keys. I understand how to change out the keys but he said that to do it right the torsion bars need to come off the front and index it all correctly…

Is this correct? I want to go back to stock.

if he is right, can someone please explain how to do this?

thanks!!
