Rookie looking for help identifying something

Hello friends

I have a 1997 ford ranger XLT 4.0L 2wd Automatic

Recently I re-did all the brake lines, took the bed off, battery out, wheel wells out, gas tank off. Im done with that and putting it back together. This is my first major mechanic project and Im still learning.

I don't know what these are [pictures] , and the look like they might be disconnected or maybe broken. Im guessing some kind of senseor. the lone cable one travels back into what I think is the intake cover, the electrical bundle travels into a main wiring line which I am pointing at in a later picture. Perhaps you could let me know what they are, where they go and if they are indeed broken or if they are supposed to look like that.

I labeled them "broken tube" and "electric bundle" just so I dont confuse the two separate items. Im working on the truck right now so any help would be much appreciated
Thank you kindly.

Its part of the EVAP system, applies negative pressure to the gas tank to suck out gas fumes generated when fuel sloshes around in the tank

If it has 2 wires then its a valve, if its has 3 wires then its a pressure sensor

Thanks , that is helpful. It does indeed have three wires coming out of it. So that part looks ok eh?
