suspension, axle, and lowering questions

I mostly read here, not posting much ever. None of the forums seem to be as big as RPS was on the lowering stuff, but hoping that if I post around I might catch the attention of the right people.

Getting ready to do some suspension work on a torsion bar Ranger and have some questions. I know that T-bar is not ideal for lowering, but it is what I have. I'm not going to sell or trade, and my goals should be achievable with torsion bars. I was going to wait a while for this, but discovered recently that its ready for a front suspension rebuild and (due to other work being performed) I could stand to change gear ratios. Time frame has moved up for the work and avaiability of parts is going to affect everything.

Plan is to lower the truck to the height of a stock 2wd coil spring truck, maybe a little lower to about the height of a 2" drop on same truck. I know how to lower it. I know that my first issue to encounter will be extreme balljoint angles on the factory upper control arms. There used to be atleast two companies making modified upper control arms to correct this.

MichiganMetalWorks claims that they still make them and was getting ready to make a batch. I tried to get a set on order, but guy flaked when it came time to send out an invoice. Claimed that the invoice got stuck in the system and wouldn't send to that email, provided other email addresses and now he's ghosted me.
Was in contact with Brian at Illusive Design through Facebook. He said he'll be making more arms after he gets shop moved and does some redesign, but he can't/won't give a guestimated time frame on that.

Does anyone else out there make upper control arms to correct ball joint angle for lowering torsion bar Rangers?

Second, I will be using a Limited slip Explorer disc axle in the rear, I have two of them. I would like to run it spring under (flipped for a Ranger) and use the associated u-bolt plates (with shock mounts), sway bar, and traction/anti-wrap bars. Just installing the Explorer axle spring under will net about a 6" drop on a Ranger which is way too low for my purposes. Anyway to pull off this axle flip and get about a 2" net drop?

FWIW I have Explorer leaf spring pack too and a set of lift shackles from another project that I could use. It is ok if I have to buy addition parts to do it. The Explorer axle will drop the rear 5-6", then the spring pack would lift it back up 1.5-2" and the shackles another 1.5" inches or so. That would put me close at a net 2.5-3" drop. Not sure about the ride though, I haven't excactly like the ride quality of the spring in a spring over configuration on the truck. Maybe splicing in a Ranger leaf pack could improve that and gain a little height from the stiffer pack?

I know it ain;t the normal suspension and drop questions, but hoping that bouncing around some ideas can get me where I want to be.
