lowering questions
i have a 94 ranger and i all ready fliped my rear shackle hangers and it gave me roughly 2 inches i was wondering if i took out the helper leaf if it would screw anything up...will it lower my truck any?and who carries the cheapest drop i-beams....or does any body know of any one who makes them....and if taking a spring out is a very bad idea what else can i do to lower the rear end right now without doing a rear flip or ordering new drop leaves
you can remove a spring, i wouldnt recomend removing the helper or overload spring, if you want to, you can mono leaf it ad just have the biggest spring, nothing else, the ride quality is not as well ig you do that. as for the front, i dont know, i have a 2003 with a arms, not i beams.
you can do a axle over spring conversion.......put the springs on the bottom of the axle, without needing a lot of money.........all you need is a set of springs perches welded on the axle.....if you flipped your spring hangers, then you can weld......

When you flip the rear leafs and take out the blocks.. theres very little spring travel left.. A notch would be a wise thing.
Tosrion bars don't ' flip '.
