Yesterday I was driving my friend home and I was going down a slight hill going about 40 ish and when it would shift into 4th gear the rpms just went up and it didn't upshift right after that there was a stop sign so I stopped and when I pressed the gas there was close to no power and it capped at maybe 15 20 mph and would not switch gears so naturally I pulled over but I could manually put it into 1st and 2nd gear so I turned around and went home when I got home I realized if I turn overdrive off it shifts gears fine but when I turn it back on the trans makes a funny noise and it goes back to not switching gears I don't know if it is the torque converter or an electrical issue I also don't know if it is the trans because drive works fine but reverse is still kind of weird when overdrive is off.
