wheel bearing part number known to fit in the past...doesn't fit on spindle now ??

92' Ford Ranger with 2.9 V6 and 4WD. I was going to overhaul my front disc brakes this weekend including wheel bearing replacement.
My truck uses the A37 part number wheel bearings for front inner and outer. I've never had a problem with those. For some reason the replacement A37 would not fit on the spindle today. I tried 3 different brands and none of them would fit. I didn't see any deformity on the spindle shaft.

I just reinstalled the old A37 bearings and all the old brake parts till I can figure out what's going on. I don't understand this. 3 different brand under A37 not fitting?
What is the problem here? Have any of you experienced this before?

do you have a micrometer ? if so measure the axel and old bearing. do understand why new ones dont fit? you would think they would be looser? if you have the number for the axel there are good bearing parts places. they can match it.

I did some reading online, and this is not uncommon. People report sanding the spindle and freezing the spindle to decrease the diameter by a hair and then they're able to get the bearing on.

I was able to complete the front disc brake overhaul this weekend. I just used plumbing sanding cloth and then I was able to slide the bearings on the spindle with no problem. I actually had to sand the spindles on both driver and passenger side.
Not sure what the problem was here. Maybe a factory run of bearings with spec off a hair. Or normal wear and tear for 32 year old spindles.
