2002 Ford Ranger Leak

Hi there, new to this forum but am looking for some help. We have a leak coming from the top of a hose connected to a splitter I think. I’ve circled where the leak is coming from in the picture. Anyone have any idea what the fluid is and what piece does where it is leaking from? Any help would be greatly appreciated. It’s my kids truck.

Which engine is it? Looks like the 3.0
That's a Tee in your Heating Hose system. I am unsure if they sell those tees aftermarket, but that seems to be the issue.
You may have to purchase the whole assembly; RockAuto sells it at one piece for OEM.
The plastic just gets old and brittle, had a similar issue with the heater valve on my '97. Replacing it worked.
I haven't worked on 2002's so if anyone here knows better please do correct me!
