Leak?

Hello, new to the forum hoping to learn a bit about rangers. My grandfather sent me a truck he can’t drive anymore, a 03 ranger xlt 2wd. It’s got a leak and was wondering if anyone can help me figure out what it might be. Thanks

What color is the fluid? Does it feel like oil or water? Need more info in order to help. Check the fluids to see which one is low. IE Coolant, Engine oil, Power steering, Auto matic.

Welcome to the forum

At that location its most likely engine oil or Power steering fluid(ATF)

Get a white paper towel and wipe some off where the "drip" is seen
Brown/tan is engine oil
Redish is power steering fluid

Thank you for the tips. I will inspect the truck and fluids this weekend and get back to you. I know for certain it isn’t red. When I saw it on the floor I noticed it was light brown/clear and viscous.

Don't drive the truck till you sort out the leak. If it is coolant you could over heat the engine doing more damage. My 0.02 cents.
