Seeing if anyone else has had this idea or done it. Got a 98 Ranger 3.0 4x4, looking at swapping out the torsion bars for struts that the 98 Tacoma has.

The shock expanded and compressed are similar in specs and look about the same size as the Fox coil over compression kit, but fraction of the price. $50ish bucks on rockauto compared to a few hundred.

Been searching keywords with no luck, so seeing if anyone else has done this or thought about it?
