Lift Drop help
Lift Drop help
So I just bought a 400hp 302 swapped 89 ranger, thing drives pretty decent, hard to control and is a weapon of mass destruction (blasted through a center support bearing, and already twisted the drive shaft after 1 week of driving it💀
. I love it. My only problem is that the guy who did the work squated it, and I absolutely hate it with a passion. I want to at least Drop it back to stock height. My problem is that the passenger axle beam bracket (not the radius arm bracket) is gone, and ford discontinued them idk how long ago. I need to find a replacement, all the junk yards ive been to have had a few but they're rusted to all hell. Ive thought about taking the lifted bracket and cutting it up to fab one that is 1. Stock or 2. Lower than stock.
Id be able to make one out of raw steel but idk if the steel i have is thick enough, the thickest stuff i have is about 1/8 in, probably even less than that im not sure.
If yall have any advice on getting the truck dropped back on the geound that would be great.
Thanks.
