Help with clutch

I have a 1995 ford ranger with a 350 sbc with a 450 3 speed transmission I’m trying to get the clutch hooked up, what I was gonna go was get a ford master because of the hole for the master that goes to the clutch pedal is under the brake booster so kind of stuck to the stock truck design I think as far as trying to be simple then I was gonna try to find a fitting or get lucky and the threads match up to the slave on the transmission does anyone have any experience with this or can give me any kind of advice on it

We have a 98 so not sure that 95 has same type connector. The 98 3.0 V6/5 speed manual has a spring loaded type connection to the slave cylinder. We put in a new slave cylinder as part of a clutch kit when installing a reman V6. It now has a sideways clip. Frankly the side clip is a lot less pain in the butt to put on and take off. Your choices depend on what the connection to your slave cylinder looks like. If indeed your slave uses a threaded connection, you might have to adapt it with a homemade threaded on one end and the snap in thing Ford uses on the Master cylinder side. You're doing a chevy into a Ford thing so you gotta adapt man places.

My long term want is to transplant a BMW M57 diesel into a Ranger. That would really wake it up.
