Hi guys. I am new to the Ranger community, just bought a 1989 Ranger XLT, 5 speed manual 2wd. I would like to upgrade the suspension, wheels and tires. I have NO CLUE where to start, I am a new "car guy" and getting into the community is a bit intimidating. Where should I start? Is there a kit I should buy? How do I know what tires/wheels to get? Can i keep it between $2kand $3k? I appreciate any help y'all can offer! Thanks, Rangerheads!

I would make sure all the maintenance is up to date. Would hate to spend all that cash on looking good just for the trucks to leave on the side of the road.
