tires and wheels

I just recently put 3" in the front 2" in the back lift on my '04 edge super cab
I still have the stock wheels and tires on it but I'm looking to upgrade.
I like the more aggressive tire look so I'd like to keep the wheels small. I'd love to hear what you guy think??
I was thinking 16" wheels and 32" tires

Welcome to the forum

Love RED Rangers

Pictures here of Rangers with lifts and larger tires: https://www.therangerstation.com/tec...eFitment.shtml

Just a heads up, "aggressive" tread patterns will make noise at highway speeds, not a maybe, WILL make noise
As the gaps in the tire's tread gets wider it traps more air between tire and street, and that air makes a noise as its forced out, so noise WILL happen
"Aggressive" means wider gaps, lol

But the degree of the noise is what matters, so once you decide on a tire model, ask here, if anyone has tried that pattern and how loud it is

Tire size is a big deal in my opinion, when I had first bought my ranger (I’m 3rd owner btw) the truck had 15” wheels with 33x12.50x15 BF Goodrich tires. I was not a fan, granted the second owner treated the truck like crap so there was a lot more at play besides the tires being overly large and cupped.
my advice for you is to go with 30” tires max, because you also have to consider stress on your drivetrain. Larger the tire the more work your transmission, transfer case (for 4x4), and rear diff will take on to get those to move.
speaking from experience I kept the 15” wheels and dropped from 33x12.50x15 to 30x10.5x15 Toyo’s.
I’d get more technical but this reply would go on for days. In a nut shell, figure out what look you’re going for and find the best fit that won’t take away too much in terms of the mechanical side of things.
