I just recently purchased a 1994 Ranger 4.0L V6 XLT. The temp gauge never comes up to temp, so I put a new temp sensor in it and it does the same thing. Im now thinking the thermostat is stuck open, when i look it up it appears there is two different thermostats for this, a 180deg and a 198 deg. I'm thinking I need the 180deg since on the original window sticker it says i have the "super engine cooling" option. I'm new to fords and rangers so just trying to clarify, thank you
