ok thanks. It just seems like a lot. I get these things to about 70 lbs feet and they just don't go anymore. I started Stripping that 8mm Hex head on one., had to stop.

"I have a question on the "Rust Buster Bed Mounting Bolt Kit For 1983-2011 Ford Ranger & Mazda B-Series RB9914" I purchased this recently and it went in well. But i'm having issues finding the correct torque recommendation. I've seen several say 92 lbs ft , 45 lbs ft , 45 - 60 lbs ft and some even said just tighten till its tight.
92 lbs ft seems too much, one of the hex heads on one of the short bolts started to strip at 70 lbs feet. So i stopped. What is the recommended torque for your bolts please ? 2006 Ford Ranger Sport.Thank youAnthony Calabro"
And they replied with this....
So i have 5 Bolts torqued at 50 and one bolt stuck at 70 (its one of the 2 closest tot he tailgate.) I can't loosen it because of the stripped head. I think it will be fine though.
I'll just end up cutting it off if i ever have to replace my fuel pump again in the future. It's why i removed them in the first place.
