So I'm hoping to redo my exhaust in the next few weeks. I'm going to go with a Flowmaster 40 series and it is my understanding that the Original 40 is louder than the Super 40? I want my 3.0 to be as loud as it can be without doing something illegal to the exhaust. I figure I'll buy the muffler off ebay since they're pretty cheap. I found one that is si/do with a 3" inlet and 2.5" outlets. So my question is, those of you that have lightning style exhausts, how much did you pay? and how does it sound? Oh and also what size tips should I go with? I know the bigger they are the louder the sound will be, and I do want 'wake the neighbors' loud, but I don't want the tips so big they look goofy or something..

nobodies going to look at this because they'll asume its another noob thread about if dual lightning exhuast is possible.

 

Good call.. How do I change it so it shows up edited on in the forums? I went to edit but it will only change the thread title within the thread itself..if that makes sense.

mine cost 350 installed... but that is also washington dc prices...
