want lift with cheby 1500 springs

want lift with chevy 1500 springs

how does the setup go if i wan just 1.5 to 2 inches of lift with the chevy 1500 springs. what is the average cost of them.

i decided to do this so my little work truck is a little more.....workable

it will add alot more then just 1.5-2 inches.

more like 3-4 and im not really sure the outcome on an older truck like yours.

you might just want to look into new ranger springs, or maybe add an AAL.

i was looking at AAL but hoping that the 1500 swap would work so i could load the bed more

I think mine came out to 2" by adding a stock middle spring. I can load more also ince it stiffens it up.

On my truck, the 2WD Chevy C1500 springs lifted the rear about 2"~2 1/2". Your truck is a lot lighter, so my guess is that the lift would be greater.

Here is a description of the installation on a 93 Ranger. My Ranger has a differently shaped spring hanger but this should be very close to yours. (You have to join their forum to see the pictures.)
