Icon5 i dont really want the lift, or need it, but i want the big tire look.

i go hunting every year in some pretty rough terrain and regular tires wont do the job, i have a 1991 ranger with no lift but i want to put some beefy tires on it, what is the biggest tire size i can put on my ranger without much rubbing or minimal to no bumper trimming without putting a huge lift on that i dont have the money for.

What dose will fir nut mean.

Depends. You could do a body lift. I was debating puting a set of 35s on my truck and what I did was went and messured the clearance everywhere around the tires. I dont know much about 91s.

Yea 35's and a BL will work on our years, but a 91 you will need coil spacers to fit 31's in the front

damn, im thinkin that i want something along those lines but the lift is a little much...something a little more modest even though that truck looked amazing...and i guess i was wrong about there not being any 1991 rangers around.

Is your truck 2wd or 4wd? On a 91 4wd (I think) you can fit 31's with a 3" body lift, stock (I think) a 30" tire is all you can get. I'm not 100% sure on this though. I'm trying to think of some other members who have that generation ranger. The wheel wells keep you from being able to add bigger tires on that model ranger.

4x4 of coarse, wouldnt leave home without it, and that sounds pretty ideal, maybe a very small 3'' lift and some 31's, but i am a little new to the whole lifting and installing, but im not to cars, so i am guessing there is a lot of other things that need to be done along with the lift itself.

Sure is (You talking about the 04), I put #1 bars on it today and I got more lift, I was kinda surprised how much more I got with them(Not a whole lot more, just more than I thought I was going to get). I'm going to post pics tomorrow. I gotta shackle her @ss next!

Nothing major, as long as the truck is in good running condition. You should get that 4" suspension lift thats $440 in that link.

You talking about the #1 bars? If so, I got them at the dealership for $90.

you could get some Skyjacker leveling coils and a set of chevy drop shackels for the rear, it will level the truck out nicely is very easy to install and you should be able to squeeze a 32x11.5 in there with out mush isssue.
