Ok so I own a 2wd and the front of the truck is lower then the rear (like all trucks). I want to put 31x10.5x15s on and im sure the rear will be fine, however the front will rub. I was wondering if there is a cheap easy way to maybe lift the front end like 2" to level the truck out and to also allow better clearance for bigger tires?

 

coil spacers....i heard something about cranking the t bar too for some lift...im searching it right now...

 

cranking the t-bar can give you a few inches of clearance

no T-bars for him to crank. He's got a 2WD XLT, that means coil springs up front.

 

Coil spacer will do the trick. Itl give you about a 1 1/2 more.

 

Hmm where can I get Coil spacers? Do any of our local merchs sell them?

 

I have the same tires on my 2003 XLT 2wd and the dont rub, I took off the mud gaurds though.

 

Hmm I dunno I might actually go BFG Mud Terrains and I want a coil spacer anyway but I cant find them anywhere or Im not looking in the right places. I just want like a 2" lift in the front which I think is a little lower then level.

those tires are going to wear really fast though with the poor front end angles.. so make sure you get it alligned after you install them...

 

Yeah the tires will be aligned and all that to make it work out, I need an aglinment sorta anyway.

 

So I have a question, if I just do coil spacers 2" and 2" Lift Blocks in the rear is that ok? Its a cheap way of getting lift but is it just stupid to do it?
