How in the H#LL do you get to that spark plug?!!?
I did mine from the out side of the truck. I jacked it up, pulled the wheel, pulled the inner fenders, and went at it from the inside of the wheel well. Best thing is having a universal socket to get at them. I used both 3/8 and 1/4 drive rachets. It's a pain, but once you figure it out, youve got it for life. I've been told body lift trucks are a little easier to work in.
whenever i change the plugs on my truck, even though i am body lifted and can see the plugs from under the wheel well, i sit on top of the engine and reach down.....give me more leverage and it is easier to get to that way......dont have to pull the inner fender out at all.....a lot more room that way than pulling the fender well out...
took me 3 hours when i 1st did it....lol..but i went at without any help from the ranger forums group! here's what i plan to do when i take them out to regap them...
pop the hood.............drink a beer
jack the truck up and take the wheel off.............drink a beer
get my tools..............drink a beer
and usually by this time, im so drunk that i can't feel the exhaust manifold burning my arm so its alot easier...hahaha...im a weak one...

no clue...
I tried changing the wires out, got the drivers side done but I couldn't even come close to getting the passenger side off with 1 arm so I had the dealer do the 3 wires & replace the plugs when I had my major service done last week.
