New Ranger

what was your best deal and how much did you pay?

I went to a dealer with their ad $10999 I assumed it was an XL 5-Spd
Asked for one with AC, told me 1000 more, said ok, out came an xlt model
shadow grey color, grabbed it quick for 11999 + fees
2007 Ranger XLT 4cyl/5spd/ac

Wow, usually the dealer calls the customer the night before and tells them to bring the ky because its gonna hurt. You gotta deal on that bad boy, there going for 11,990 for a no ac bare bones work truck here.

that sounds like a pretty good deal actually
with my 07, you have to manually crank the windows and no tilt or cruise

but when they tried to close me at the dealer, boy oh boy did they try to sell me the ranch
extended warranty, alarm, maintanence plan, wax job, window etching, lo jack and a bed liner ( I actually went for that, but was only $175)

Well, DANG. Ya'll are going to call me stupid. I got a 3.0 2005 Edge with the tow package, ac, auto 5spd, and power everything and cruise and tilt for 17,800 in august of 05. They wanted $950 for the bedliner and bug guard, I said I'd like to keep the paint in the bed and a bug guard is $40 not $150. I paid in cash outright though so no interest.

$1000 for A/C??????? My 07 window sticker shows A/C as an $850 option, which is then "subtracted" on the sticker as its now standard equipment for anything but the XL models I think. Window sticker on my 05 read and said the same exact thing, and it was a 2.3L regular cab 5 speed.

Still got a good deal though.

I got my 2002 edge in feb of 2006 for 13900 out the door, including an extended warranty ($1600) with only 38000 miles on it. then in november i got as 2001 f350 powerstroke, the 7.3, not the crappy 6.0, for 24000 out the door with 90,000 miles. thats a lariat crew cab, with a 3 inch lift on it.

My 07 Sport fully loaded cost me just a hair over 23k out the door. The shocks, rear diff, and a few interior pieces are the only difference from making my truck a FX4 LII, which were 28K for what I wanted.

I think I got the Best deal here, 2004 Dark shadow grey FX4 Levell II Brand new for $18,500. Although I took it up the pipe when it came time to sell it, but at the purchase time it was a great deal. Bought it new, drove it for 40K Give or take, and sold it for 11,500

Ouch! I was Quoted 22K for a 07 Level II with an Auto and leather. Guess it pays to know people.

For what the truck has, I got a good deal. My truck stickered at 28K. The same as the LII's sitting at the same lot, but I couldn't get them down on the LII's like on the Sport. I think location has more to do with pricing than who you know though.

No Offense, but that is alot high!

Here is the price for a Loaded Level II with an Auto. Add $300 for leather

Remember this is before rebates. When I was quoted was last august and they still wanted to get rid of the 06's so I had no rebates, add a couple rebates on their and we are talking 20K

Here is the most expesive Sport I can build, It even has the $900 Tremor package:
