Need advice on newer Ranger

Hey everyone

I'll be needing to trade the Ranger in for something else before too long here. While cruising around over at the local Ford dealer, I spotted a 2003 Ranger. It's crimson in color, 4.0L 4x4, 5spd, ext cab, tow hooks, fog lamps, PW, PL etc...

It's in very good shape and I like what I see about it. However, it has 98K miles on it The tires appear to be recent. There Toyo Open Countrys The exhaust was modified. Muffler removed and single straight pipe from there in the stock location.

It has a small crack in the drivers side rear tailight, easy fix. All this, the dealer is asking $9,990 which is negotiable. Should I test her out or wait till something with fewer miles comes around? Thanks in advance -Mike-

$8,000-$8,500 would be a good price to pay.

yeah

is this a program truck? i know dealerships tear these up...then again it could be all highway miles but a 4.0 5 spd is rare

yea the miles is the only thing that worries me. I think someone personally owned it just because the muffler was removed the exhaust. Age affects a vehicle more than miles. I would rather buy something like that rather than a 10yr old car with the same miles.

As far as price goes, I could probably get em down to $9000 + tax & title. Not sure yet at this point -Mike-
