Hey i was just curious on how far people would go with there rangers if they had no hold ups… If it wasn’t your dd and you didn’t have to pay for a part, what would you do to your ranger?

here is my wish/will do some day list:

- pull the 4.0 and stroke it out to a 4.5L with a SuperSix stroker kit
- port polish heads
- JBA ceramic coated headers
- full stainless steel exhaust
- supercharge the 4.0
- built 5r55e
- Dana 44 front axle
- custom brakes and axle shafts for the rear to have 5x5.5 lug pattern
- remove fender flares
- fill fender flare holes
- repaint with a candy apple pearl red and metallic silver pearl
- '06-'07 front end
- cowl induction hood
- graph a 2nd door on the rear of my cab for a full 4 door (use Ranger front floor pan in the rear so i can install bucket seats on a Ranger seat trac)
- extend frame so i can have 6' bed with above mod
- powder coat entire frame black

That sounds pretty good to me! Though I might go for a 302, T5 tranny, D60s front and rear, and ~37s. Or I'd take the money and tube out the sammi with the same drivetrain

I would just lift another 4-5 inches, throw on 36's, SFA, and 4.56's.

Really don't want to go much larger than that and I will do most of that within the next year anyway, just too busy with racing season at the moment to dedicate any money or time to the truck.

I'd put ina 5.0 with a new trans and T-case. Get the same wheels I have in 15x10 with 35's or 37's, Obviously lift it Suspension and maybe a BL too 4:56's. A KC light bar with 4 150w KC 's. Explorer leather, power seats. Maybe a Leer Top and a bedrug.Maybe repaint the truck and get some body damage fixed, I think that's a good starting point.
