Exhaust Size after the 4th Catalytic Converter

I want to know what the OD of the Exhaust pipe is after the 4th Catalytic converter before the flange.

I was thinking it was 2.5" can anyone confirm this?

Do you guys have your o2 sensor after that last cat? Mine was "Removed" and I haven't had any problems at all. It actually sounds better, but that was it....

2003 4.0 has the CMS O2 sensor in the short pipe between the 3rd and 4th cat.

Mine on an 04 was 2.5" till the last cat, then leaving the last cat it went to 2" and then to 2.25" with a 2.5" tip. I just cut off all the pipe after the cat and went 2.5" all the way through.

Hmmmm, I have a 03 FX4 and I do not that I have one there. I'll have to look, it gives me a reason to get away from my desk.

you have a 04, so you only have 3. After each manifold, there is one small cat and then the large one that the two pipes feed into. The 03s and below have another one after your third cat.

I dont see why there would be any Cons. Basically, you will have the same set-up of a 2004-up truck after you remove the 4th cat? The o2 is before the 4th cat so I see no reason why it would not pass emissions.
