Header Question

I was looking at some headers for my 03 ranger edge and was wondering if it was egr and how I would find that out myself, for future reference?

NP. That question gets asked A LOT. lol. I'm not sure what the egr looks like on a 3.0. One thing that is certain- there will be a small pipe coming off the exhaust manifold. Find that and you found an egr.

do headers in our little V6's even help whole lot?
i mean 400 bucks is a bit steep for something that wouldn't do too much...

from what I've read they do help mid to top end. Bottom end people said they didn't do anything really and even some could feel a little lose but the mid-top end made up for it. I'd personaly do the headers to the catback. If I could find a set of headers for less than $400 (yeah I agree to steep) I'd do it.
