check the following things:
- air pressure in the tires
- air filter (is it still clean?)
- when was the last time you replaced the fuel filter
- when was your last oil change
- are there any hidden codes in the computer

remember that since it is getting colder the gas stations are starting to get their "winter" gas in.....the "winter" gas doesn't burn as completely as the "summer" gas does.....

Clean your MAF. I did that back when I had my truck with an oiled K&N filter and bumped it up ~3mpg.

Couple bucks for the aerosol cleaner spray stuff. Pretty simple to do. Definitely worth a shot.

Winter Fuel Blend FTL!

Mileage took a hit about 2 months ago. I haven't had a chance to check my PCV valve, but everything else looks fine on my end of things. I was getting 16-17 city and 19-20 highway, even after putting the RCD on. Again, about 2 months ago I took a hit in mileage. Only thing I can think of is winter fuel blend. I just filled up 9.970 gallons last week, went I believe 153 miles giving me 15.3 mpg for city driving. Before the lift and before going to 33s I could do 400 miles to a tank easily. And even with the 33s on I was seeing around 20-23 mpg highway/16-19 city/18-20 mixed driving.

That aerodynamics reducing light bar up top isn't helping either! 47000 and you're thinking of trading it? I have 61400 on an 04!

Lol....i would like to be getting 19 on the highway thats what im trying to do...there is no light bar on top any more....the out side of the truck is pretty much back to stock besides the wheels and the body lift...the light bar, lights on the front, topper every thing has been taken off for almost a year now...

We are local to each other.. my milage has been down for a month or so now. I think it's a combination of the colder air and winter fuel.

I'm usually in the 20-21 range and my last tank was at 18.xx

I just did my mileage yesterday. 357 miles on 17.7 gallons. That is lower than normal for me, but as said, Michigan cold and winter blend gasoline will do it...

I've noticed a big drop to recently, now its only getting to about 30 some degrees for highs which i know has a role, but i remember watching it go from 15mpg to 14.6....14.4....and now to 13.7 all within a month and a half,i was going to clean the MAF, went to advanced auto parts and saw a bottle of cleaaner but it was expensive, would aerosol cleaner worK? like air duster?
