i was wondering some cheap mods i can do to help with some fuel milege. I know i should get an intake system but i dont really want to spend 300 buck, and help would be great

drop in k/n filter thats what i got..other then that intake, efan..theres not to much out there without spending alot..programmer but those get costy but worth it in the long run

 

what will the programmer do, my brother has one for his powerstroke. and he told me not to waist my money with a gas motor

 

Your brother is a tard. You want a SCT Tuner by either Fred or Doug, You will get 2-4MPG better, more HP, and you can change a few things like gear ratios, tire size, etc.

 

well his point was the power, with the diesel you really just have to add more fuel. and i know like with his he can get a 80 horse turn. he just told me i couldnt get that with like mine and it would work as good.

 

you get different programs like 3 different ones..

torque, preformance, hp i think are you choices

i got one for my bigger tires and gears..BIG difference i love it..probably one of the best mods i did on the truck.

if you ever plan on lifting it..it will correct your speedometer and give that extra boost and little better mpg
