New mods to my new to me 2004

Here she is all cleaned up Buffed, rubbed, and hand waxed...It really cleaned the paint up. The water can barely stick to it.

Added the side mouldings

Swapped out the beds and then installed my 4x4

Mounted the OHC

Installed Level 2 skid plate

Cleaned up the bottom of the truck, installed new shocks, and Ford Racing Girdle. New Sythenthetic fluid in it.

Installed cubby hole

Installed seat cup holder. It's really nice to set my phone and misc stuff in while driving.

I called it a night at 1am in the morning...The wiring is going to be a huge ordeal.

That's all for now...lol

Looks good. I really need to find me one of those cup holders that bolt to the seat.

Ya but they protect the sides of the truck and I don't mind them too much.

I ordered it. It comes as a kit. Most 60/40 seats have the holes to mount it up but not all of them have the holes threaded for the bolts. I tapped mine just to be safe. If yours has two black plastic push pins then yours is good to go.

Ya I know, I lucked out and got it for a crazy low price with 46k miles and 1 owner. I couldn't pass it up. It's an edge plus so it has all the power goodies and is an auto.

The 04 one had a few dents on the driver side. So decided to swap them.

Looks good man. When you say you swapped your 4x4 over. Was the other truck 4x4 and you swapped the parts over?

I know, but my friends and I agree the old 01 bed is about 50-100 lbs heavier. The 01 does have a metal shield on it to protect the bed from the exhaust heat where as the 04 has only a thin piece of insulation. I wonder if the sheet metal is getting thinner as the years go on.
