Anybody know where I can find sway bar end links for my Ranger with the RCD kit. I'm sick of the links that came with the kit. thanks

 

i ended up takin mine out. Im going to put in jeep quick disconnects. They sell adapters to change them to the jeep style here is the page

Nice, but a little expensive. It'll be around $130.85 + shipping because we would need two of those bracket kits. Have you done the measurements yet to see what length you need? Thanks for the links!

 

they will need to be custom. its a crappy design. look for an aftermarket sway bar all together.

 

i havent got the meausrements yet. Still havent had the $ to do it myself with the hoildays

Looks like a nice set-up with a not so nice price. I guess I could make a pair also....

 

I could also weld up the ball joints on the stock RCD end links and then call it a day. May not be the best option....but it would work.

that is what i am running on my truck now.

 

Warrior Products makes universal quick disconnect links with pin ends that are compatible with IFS Rangers without using adapters. Stock Rangers use 8" overall (p/n 85203) but Warrior also makes them in 2" increments above that. You may have to give them a call because not every QD variant that they make is listed on their site.

those are pretty nice. you will need the 12" ones. that is the 12" is from the sway bar to the lower control arm.

 

that kit looks SO easy to make..is there anything mathematical behind it or just bars that connects it all together?

 

The bar is made out of spring steel and is splined on the ends.

 

Your talking about the warrior links correct? I was asking about the Currie kit that you own. sorry for mix up

 

idk about that its a good quality kit.

 

I think the anti-rock bar uses a torsion bar in the design to help prevent body roll without hindering off-road performance. I don't know if it's something that could easily be replicated by an at-home fabricator. Zach, do you have any pictures of that anti-rock bar installed? I'd like to see how it installs and whether it's got any sort of quick disconnects or what.

 

you really do not need any quick disconnects for it. you have several holes for adjustment on it. as you move the links further out on the arm the easier it is for the truck to flex. mine is just welded to the bottom of the frame then i had to custom bend the arms to clear the body mounts.

Well, I called Warrior and the person that answered didnt know what she was talking about and said they didnt carry anything that would fit my truck. idk, I dont think the 12in. will work because it seems like the conversion bracket adds another inch or so. I'll look around some more.
