name that part?

I need to find out the name of the part on my 2001 ranger 4.0 sohc, from the pcv valve the line for the pcv goes to the front of the engine and connects into it with 2 other hoses. Please help!! Thanks all!

PCV vacuum line is what I would call it. Why do you need the name. Anyone should be able to know what you're talking about with that description. It is just a vacuum line, though some might call it the PCV line. I like my name the best though, PCV vacuum line

no no not the line itself its bolted into the intake manifold, its that the line goes into, i think i have a leak coming from it theres the pcv line and 2 other hoses that goes into it. Any idea? Thanks

vacuum tree Since it draws a vacuum from there a way to tell if there is a leak there is to spray starter fluid or brake cleaner around that area and see if the motor revs. An unlit propane torch also works.
