i got a $163 ticket for it.

i had to take it when i first got pulled over in NC. but i was lucky, i got clocked doing 64 in a 45 (at 2 am) but it took him another few miles before he could catch up enough to throw his lights on.

its kind of stupid though because i was in there for just speeding by myself at night and other people in there were caught street racing and a few had DUIs...so in other words the course is complete BS. just be happy you can do the class and it wont effect your insurance.

i think the only reason he caught me was because i stopped at the next red light whitch was about half a mile away.
so in about half of a mile i accelerated from 0-72 and was able to safely stop at the next light.

BUt you still are going 27mph OVER the speed limit. There's a certain amount over that you can go without "corrective action". have fun taking the class. I got a BS! ticket for going the same speed people go on that road in the afternoon.....thing is I was going 51 in a 35 at 4:30am. I get passed on that road in the afternoon when i go 50. complete bs!.

There is a diffrence between staying with the speed of traffic and being by youself and going the same speed.

That why its better to be in with a pack of cars while traveling at faster speeds. But I noticed in SC and GA they have a stop to that
