Trailmaster Lift Kit

has anyone on here run the trailmaster lift kit? i was looking at buyin that instead of superlift..its about 1800 for the trailmaster lift kit w/the shocks(quoted by my local auto store) and the driveshaft is another 300 i think..i dont remember. if anyone has run it..how do u feel about it, im in a toss up between trailmaster and rcd..since i can get both for the same price

I think trailmaster is only for the TTB suspensions, but I could be wrong.

Theres a reason no one runs that lift kit. Its junk. As someone already stated it uses ball joint spacers instead of using new knuckles. Also because it doesn't use new knuckles it has to use some strange bracketry for the steering to keep its correct geometry. Stay away from the trail master kit, stick to SuperLift or RCD.

Trailmaster uses balljoint spacers... those are just BAD. Get the Superlift kit and save yourself some money (I got mine for $1400 new out the door) and potentially save someone's life. Stay far away from the trailmaster kit.

^^x2! I honestly dont think i've ever seen pics of the Trail Master lift!

Get the RCD!!!! If you can get the trailmaster and RCD forthe same price, you DEFINATELY want the RCD.

there is only 1 good thing about the trailmaster kit- you can use it on a 2wd. this is because you keep the same knuckles. you can add a pair of lift spindles and ket a 7" lift. But, i have heard of that kit breaking and the steering conponents are just wacky. Too many parts to go wrong. The superlift kit is simple and strong. i paid 1380 for mine shipped. it was on sale though.
