What ever happened to the kit and was it worth it?

I had heard about a mysterious 3rd lift for the SLA Rangers, but didn't remember who had the 3rd.

Pros/Cons? I'm just curious is all.

I've heard that is is not as good as a superlift but the same price so everyone goes with superlift

yeah the trailmaster kits is a death trap. It uses half *** parts like ball joint spacers and drop links for the tie rods. Its really scary up close and to imagine that a product like that is actually sold.

Went to their website earlier and all they have for a Ranger is for a 93-97 TTB kit. Never have been a Trailmaster fan myself, I was just curious.

I did see however, the Skyjacker for the new Colorado's... it actually looked nice. I'm a bit jealous though, because I'd love to have a Skyjacker for the SLA Rangers.

^^Skyjacker kit doesn't fit too well to the colorado/canyon. The crossmembers never line up to where they need to. Buddy of mine installed one the other day.

I believe ScottG posted pics of the new Rancho 3"(?) lift for 98+ 4x4's. Don't know if it's out yet.

Oh yea....well i test drove the truck....and it was a pile of crap. seriously. Looks good...but drives/stops like ***. Engine smoked blue(oil).

now, this is very similar to the superlift suspension, but instead of replacing the hubs/spindles, it uses balljoin spacers....

So this was my plan at one time, there was a used one for orignal asking price of 300 (but it fell thru), but if i got it, i was going to use the kit on a 2wd edge/explorer and ALSO use a 3.5inch lifting shackle for a total 7.5inch SUSPENSION lift

Just a thought incase someone comes accrossed another kit for dirt cheap. Also a balljoint spacer is a bad idea for any hardcore offroaders, but for streetqueens, its not going to be THAT bad

And rancho lift
