Seatbelt not buckleing

So I got in my truck after working today and before I even back out of my spot my seat belt unbuckled. On the way home it did it twice more. When I got home I discovered that it only needs to be pushed down about 1/8" to unlatch, or just bumped from any side. I don't know if it would protect me in an accident.

If I took it to ford would they fix it for free because its a safety devise and it shouldn't be failing after 3 and a half years? or should I just go get a new buckle from the JY and replace it myself?

I'd take it to Ford, I bet they would fix it being a safety device like you said.
