My buddy at school has a wrangler with a 4.0, he was on in place of his muffler, so no muffler...Man it sounds baddddd. He has his regular exhaust pipe welded to one exit and just keeps the open exit on the valve open all the time

....I wonder if i could run that setup?? I guess its the same as having not muffler and just dumping it....Though if i installed it after or before my muffler itd be ok right? Anyone got one of these?

 

Just run a warlock muffler, it has the cut out built into it. Thats what I run, and it flows good and is fairly quiet through the muffler, but with the removal of three wing nuts (and i'm not talkin about my buddys), it gets loud and is straight through.

The magnaflow and bassani mufflers are straight through design.

Here is what my single in / dual out looks like on the ranger...

 

i have a magnaflow..I know its straight through, i just like the sound of no muffler...And a cutoff like that would help
