They are absolutely garbage. It has been covered a million times already and im sure you could find a lot of information about them if searched the forums.

BTW yes it would be a rough ride and youll go through ball joints and other suspension components like crazy!

Well you might be able to achieve the same lift with less crank but its basically the same thing.

try pulling the t-bars out of the stock and rotating them a few notches then put it back together and crank em, i heard that works for some extra lift.. no personal experience though

I would do it just to level out the front of the truck but to keep the ride harshness down to a minimum.

I meant you end up with the same thing.

i have no personal experience with keys but seems that using these will not effect torsion bar pre-load. cranking the bars will however make the ride stiffer. both will raise ride height and make suspension components ware faster.

if it was me i would crank the bars and get a set of mono-tube shocks, like monroe reflex or KYB's

Thats what I did, I cranked up the Tbars 4 complete turns and got some good monotube shocks (KYB MonoMax's). Yeah, it rides different, I cant say thats its a good thing or a bad thing. It is stiffer, but I did that months ago and I done got used to the way it rides. Keep in mind, these are trucks, not lincoln navigators.

How many cranks = how much lift? i'm curious. i'd like to lift it 1.5" in the front, curious how many times i'd have to crank it for this

Is it bad to fully max crank the bars? Or should you just give it a couple turns on each side and let it be?
