torsion key lift kit???
does anyone know if this really works? anyone use them. i wonder if the ride would be rougher. id like to maybe get them and like a 1-2" block for the back and see if i can get more lift.

They are absolutely garbage. It has been covered a million times already and im sure you could find a lot of information about them if searched the forums.
BTW yes it would be a rough ride and youll go through ball joints and other suspension components like crazy!

Well you might be able to achieve the same lift with less crank but its basically the same thing.
I would do it just to level out the front of the truck but to keep the ride harshness down to a minimum.

i have no personal experience with keys but seems that using these will not effect torsion bar pre-load. cranking the bars will however make the ride stiffer. both will raise ride height and make suspension components ware faster.
if it was me i would crank the bars and get a set of mono-tube shocks, like monroe reflex or KYB's
preloading the bars and re-indexing them is two different things.

Thats what I did, I cranked up the Tbars 4 complete turns and got some good monotube shocks (KYB MonoMax's). Yeah, it rides different, I cant say thats its a good thing or a bad thing. It is stiffer, but I did that months ago and I done got used to the way it rides. Keep in mind, these are trucks, not lincoln navigators.
