Will the visors from the same generation explorers fit my 99 Ranger? I really want them since the light up.

 

Yep, I have some in my 04. They'll fit all Rangers.

 

ditto, had them in my 2000 and loved them.

 

Are these like the Lund visors?

i would like to install the lit sunvisors from the explorer too into my 07'

I read a post where someone did the swap but the explorer visor interfered with the grab handle when flipped down?

which models years are interchangeable as far as mounting?

one wire or the two wire one seem simple enough to wire up...

 

youll have one problem with this. 07+ interior colors are totally different color than previous Ranger/Explorers. Thats the only reason I havent done this yet. The visors would be alot darker gray than our headliner.

Newer explorers wont work. 95-01 Explorers are interchangable with 98+ Rangers. The interiors colors on Rangers are noticable different starting in 07.

 

can always get them recovered. i've done several sets, they aren't that hard to do.

 

they bolt up, but are a bit longer than ranger visors so they do hit the grab handle a bit, not bad though and you get the lights on the mirrors.
