After months of searching i now have a ohv supercharger kit on its way to my house. I was wandering what supporting modifications i will need to go with this new toy. Such as higher flow injectors, fuel pump, things of this nature. Also which exhaust would be the best to handle the forced induction ?Any help will be greatly appreciated.

To tell u the truth i'm not really sure who makes the kit, but all that comes with it is the blower and the intake adapter brackets, it was on a guys truck that he sold. i'm sure i can get with him and ask who made it.

 

Well it might be a Vortech kit if its for a OHV. So I'm going to say that you will probably need a higher flow fuel pump and a tune. I'm not sure what the injectors are rated at so you might or might not need higher flow injectors.

The auction comes with a fuel pump and some other small stuff.The seller has offered me the 30lb. injectors and a MAS for another 300.00 i know thats a great deal and i'll probably need these but everybody knows the army doesnt pay that great so i'll just have to wait on those mods.

 

Also buy looking the the charger setup i'm gonna need a new air intake. seems as if the stock one will hit the belt, as there is very little room under the hood anyways. anybody got any pic of what the installed setup on a ohv looks like ?

 

I have a Paxton on an 4.0 OHV. The Paxton sits on the drivers side so not sure it would help you any. I can post a pic of something if it will though. Just let me know.

OK well as far as this whole supercharger thing is going, the furthest i have gotten is, it's in the mail and a tracking #. Crappy yeah i know but i'm still stuck here in iraq anyways. good news is i'm leaving very soon, cant post exactly when (opsec) but lets just say i'll be starting the install and posting pics by the middle of this month. The ups people said it would be at my house by monday so i'll get my wife to send me some pics so u guys can see what u think. Has anybody ever messed with methanol/water injection on out trucks? might know how complicated it is and if its really worth the money ?
