might need to take a breaker bar to your ratchet.....but you shouldn't need to. They shouldn't be so tight that you need a breaker bar or even a ratchet to get them off.
Just take a socket and ratchet to it to get the job done.

its got some really weird lookin nut with bout 15 slots on it, but it doesnt move at all
Thats correct, that retainer ring just pulls off and you should be able to turn the spindle nut off with your fingers as well. Once you get the outer bearing off, put the nut back on and pull out on the rotor to get the inner bearing and seal out (if you need it out). If you take off the inner bearing I suggest replacing the seals too. I hope you know how to pack a wheel bearing before you put new ones in otherwise you'll be back VERY soon.
There's a couple ways to do it. By hand, which is easier to show than explain but I'll try. Get a big glob of wheel bearing grease on one hand and hold the bearing in the other hand. Push the bearing into the grease on all sides and angles so the grease fills all possible crevices and fills all around the bearings. If it's a used bearing make sure that the old grease is pressed out as you're doing this. I know not very good instructions but someone is welcome to chime in or you can google it. The other way is with bearing cups and a grease gun. Fast and easy. Put bearing on bottom cup, screw on top cup, connect grease gun and squeeze.
