If a vehicle has a salvage title, will it state that on the title?

yes it will same as if its and r title it will say

 

yea there should be a place where it says title-clear or salvage and the other history of it and there is no way to clear that other then get a new VIN which i think you can do i know workman did it on his jeep it was a 79 but when he redid it he made it an 02 but i dunno if you can change it from salvage to clear

 

I learned the hard way what "BRANDED" means on a title.


Basically....i was in a situation where i bought a toyota. Had a little damage to it but not much. bought it with a free and clear title. Got my new title from the state and it said "branded". yea...so.........if it was salvaged while under the current owner's name/title, it won't say it unless he/she got a new title saying it.
