Ok so i just bought my 2nd ranger. Its a 03 vulcan and i was woundering if it was an Edge or not. It doesn't have the EDGE badging on it but that could have been removed or something by the previous owner. Ive seen other Edges and i really don't see any difference. Is there any way to tell that i dont know of??

 

EDGEs have painted bumpers and flares.....EDGEs have vinyl floor not carpet.....EDGEs have foglamps...EDGE 2wd has the 4x4 suspension w/o the axle....EDGEs have XLT 4x4 grilles and hoods.

Your truck, according to the avatar, is NOT an EDGE. It appears to be a 2wd XLT.

 

thats a pic of my old truck. Mines red and has flairs and a painted bumper.

no chrome...just all red paint? EDGE lettering on the side are just stickers.....another way to tell, is the emblem on the side of the truck....does it just say "Ranger" ? Not "Ranger XLT"

Mine had Ranger badges and the EDGE decals were removed. I found them under the stock bed caps in dust lol.

my friend down the street has a nice edge. but hes just a huge pot head that doesnt do anything. his truck was given to him and he has no ambision to do anything with it. i did see him roast the tires on it once tho.
